West Michigan Flight Academy was founded in 2007. Since creation has provided the highest quality flight instruction in the area. 

In 2025 the flight school launched a tailored professional pilot program, designed to help pilots get from zero experience to their dream career destination, while providing those who wish to fly for leisure only with a professional flying attitude.  

The flight school has been the start for hundreds of pilots, some now continuing their education at universitys like Western Michigan University, and some flying at their dream airline or career destination. 

In 2025 we also launched a connected program with GRPS, allowing kids as young as 4th grade to begin their flying journey, in 2026 this program was featured on WZZM 13.
